Hearica Refund Policy
Effective date: 29 December 2025
This Refund Policy explains when you may be eligible for a refund for Hearica subscriptions and related purchases.
If there is a conflict between this Refund Policy and our Terms of Service, this Refund Policy controls for refunds.
1. Overview
- Default policy: We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for first-time purchases of a paid subscription, counted from the date of purchase.
- No partial refunds: We do not offer partial refunds for unused time, unused minutes, or downgrades mid-billing period, except where required by law.
2. Eligibility (14-Day Guarantee)
You may request a full refund if:
- This is your first paid purchase for the relevant account; and
- You request the refund within 14 days of purchase; and
- The request is made via support@hearica.com (include your account email and the reason for the request so we can improve).
We may refuse refund requests if we reasonably believe there has been fraud, abuse, or chargeback misuse.
2.1 Fair Use / Abuse
To keep this guarantee fair for everyone, we may deny refund requests where we believe the policy is being misused, including (for example):
- Unusually high or automated usage within the refund window that suggests the Service was used primarily to extract value and then refund.
- Repeated refund requests across accounts or other suspicious purchase patterns.
- Material breaches of our Terms of Service.
3. Renewals and Upgrades
- Renewals: Renewals are generally non-refundable, except where required by law.
- Upgrades / plan changes: If you change plans, the new plan terms apply from the effective date shown in your account/billing UI. Unless required by law, we do not provide refunds or credits for plan changes.
4. How Refunds Are Issued (Paddle / Merchant of Record)
If Paddle (or an affiliate) is the Merchant of Record for your purchase, refunds are processed through Paddle and returned to the original payment method, subject to Paddle's processing timelines.
5. Statutory Rights (Consumers)
If you are a consumer, you may have additional rights under applicable law. Nothing in this Refund Policy limits those statutory rights.
In some jurisdictions, if you start using digital services immediately, you may be asked to acknowledge that you waive certain "cooling off" cancellation rights for digital content/services. Where required, our checkout flow will present the relevant disclosures.

Yes, live translation is a key feature of our app. You can get real-time translations for over 60 languages, allowing you to follow along in multilingual conversations effortlessly.
